Targeting an audience with diverse levels of experience, the tutorial includes hands-on sessions where participants are guided through the core features of the applications. Attendees will receive an overview of VocBench’s manifold editing capabilities, covering OWL, SKOS(-XL), and OntoLex‑Lemon, and will then gain hands‑on experience developing ontologies, thesauri, and lexicons. They will also learn about advanced governance features such as change history and validation workflows. Attendees will further be introduced to the metadata model shared by the two main platforms of the ecosystem: VocBench (for collaborative editing) and ShowVoc (for publication), which combines diverse vocabularies (DCAT, VoID, LIME) to support the management of multiple versions of RDF datasets, both locally hosted and published on the Web. They will apply this knowledge when deploying datasets on ShowVoc as a publication platform. Attendees will then practice managing multiple dataset versions, creating forks and branches to enable development alongside the mainline, and generating distributions. The tutorial will continue with a run‑through of additional features, ranging from validation through ICV and SHACL, bulk ingestion of tabular data with Sheet2RDF, and the use of custom forms and views. Finally, attendees will be given an overview of SELEN, which brings semantic‑elicitation capabilities designed to streamline both editing workflows and the exploitation of semantic datasets.
