Rows are ordered by publication date, newest first, so that the most recently published FIPs are the ones shown on the first page; the date column is also sortable in the rendered table. The declaration count is computed once per declaration index in a self-contained sub-select rather than by joining the index elements into the main pattern: counted inline, each FIP was multiplied by its ~50 index elements and then again by its research domains before aggregation, which made the query take 25 to 60 seconds and risk the gateway timeout. Result-identical, and about five times faster.";
